Hi, I’m Vicky.
I am a fully qualified registered counsellor (BACP) and accredited psychotherapist (IPTUK) working remotely with people in the UK and Ireland.
I know how daunting it can be seeking support and how overwhelming it may feel. My counselling journey started in the clients chair many years ago, so rest assured I can appreciate the courage it has taken you to get this far.
After having my own counselling I felt like a new person and wanted to train to support others like me. I spent many years working and training with a wonderful charity called Time Norfolk where I supported both men and women with pregnancy loss and bereavement, it was my absolute pleasure to work there. Although I have vast experience of working with loss, my other work within the NHS and training has opened me up to working in many areas of counselling.
I am an Interpersonal psychotherapist within the NHS specialising in navigating relationship difficulties, changes in role, bereavement and when you find you may have issues in many relationships.
I have a keen interest in working with issues such as ADHD, Menopause, Infertility, PMS and PMDD which I feel can be overlooked at times. There are many other issues we can work with together and I will be led by you.
I also have a keen interest in working with Transplant patients due to my own personal experiences and understanding of the trauma that can be caused not just by the wait and surgery but the recovery and often feelings of guilt that remain long after recovery from the surgery.
At present I am working online at home using Microsoft Teams and providing telephone sessions.
Please feel free to call for a chat and see if I am a good match.
