About me

Hi, I’m Vicky.

I am a Person-Centred counsellor but my original training was in integrative counselling, so I am more than capable of working in other modalities and tailor my approach to your needs. I know how daunting it can be seeking support and how overwhelming it may feel. My counselling journey started in the clients chair many years ago, so rest assured I can appreciate the courage it has taken you to get this far.

After having my own counselling I felt like a new person and wanted to train to support others like me. I spent many years working and training with a wonderful charity called Time Norfolk where I supported both men and women with pregnancy loss and bereavement, it was my absolute pleasure to work there. Although I have vast experience of working with loss, my other work experience and training has opened me up to working in many areas of counselling including depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, ASD, ADHD, sexual, domestic and childhood abuse to name just a few.

I have a keen interest in working with women’s issues such as menopause, infertility, PMS and PMDD which I feel can be overlooked at times. There are many other issues we can work with together and I will be led by you. At present I am working online at home where my trusty right hand lady (Lucy the dog) has been known to make an appearance to say hello.

Please feel free to call for a chat and see if I am a good match.
